What is Compare Loans?
Compare Loans is a New Zealand loan comparison and referral website. It compares advertised rates and fees from a selection of New Zealand lenders, so you can see what a loan costs each week and in total.
When you ask, Compare Loans passes your contact details to a licensed broker, who can talk through your options with you.
What can you use it for?
- General information about personal loans, debt consolidation, car finance, home loans, business loans, boat loans and refinancing.
- Rate tables with the date each figure was checked.
- A loan calculator that works out repayments and the total you pay back.
- An enquiry form that passes your details to a licensed broker.
What does Compare Loans not do?
Compare Loans does not lend money, and it does not give financial advice. A licensed broker gives the advice, and the lender decides on the loan.
- It does not arrange, approve or decline loans.
- It does not fill in or send loan applications.
- It does not compare every lender in New Zealand.
How is Compare Loans paid?
Compare Loans refers you to a licensed broker and is paid a referral fee by the broker. Using Compare Loans costs you nothing.
How Compare Loans makes money explains who the brokers are and how the fee works.
Who owns Compare Loans?
Compare Loans is run from New Zealand. You can reach the team at hello@compareloans.co.nz.
